Our outreach strategy is uniquely successful, because we take each family in its entirety under our wing. Whether the challenges are educational, financial, professional, emotional or spiritual, we are there for our Oorah families to listen, guide and offer concrete assistance. Starting with the children, Oorah gradually brings a solid Jewish education and true observance back to each family.

But each family is unique, and Oorah navigates the dynamics skillfully, becoming a mentor, an advisor, and a friend. It places children from assimilated homes into yeshivas and day schools, raising money to overcome any financial obstacles the parents may face. It enriches the child’s experience with shabbatons, summer camp and special Yom Tov programs. And it embraces the parents, giving them the education and support they need to take their rightful role in their children’s growth, many times ultimately leading to their own spiritual rejuvenation. Oorah provides mezuzahs, tefillin, sukkahs, everything the family needs to live a full religious life.
