Appreciation from a TorahMate
I owe you all at Oorah such a debt of gratitude for matching me up with my TorahMate. She learns with an unbelievable thirst for Torah and I’m deeply touched by it every time we speak. And the learning of Pirkei Avos with Artscroll is a real treat and very inspirational. Thank you again and may Hashem bless us all with the wherewithal to continue and increase Torah learning in Klal Yisroel. Amen!

A POTPOURRI OF TORAMATE EMAILS
Rabbi. I have found my time spent with my TorahMate to be enlightening and both pleasent. Whereas, I am an house bound paraplegic. His calls and enlightening talks make my Life much more enjoyable with Torah, and informations that I was not aware of going on in our Jewish world that I have not known of. Thus my life is brightened with Jewish felowship on an regular basis that I would not otherwise have. Thank G-d, my life is enriched by your organization.
The study process is going very well, baruch Hashem. The study and the telephonic trans continental fellowship is enlightening and has already helped me tremendously. My family has enjoyed the blessings we received for Chanukah and Purim from TorahMates; the items sent are difficult to come by where we live. Thank you and may Hashem bless you and the TorahMates program.
Thank you for following up. My studying is going very very well – I look forward so much to my evening with my TorahMate. He has such an infectious enthusiasm for Torah.

Guess How Many TorahMates Contest
As part of Oorah’s auction, we held a *Guess How Many TorahMates Contest*. 3 winners were chosen from the over 500 entries. The prize? An authentic Fiveish Purim costume (the same ones we send around with our bochurim Purim collectors). Those lucky winners will be the talk of their town/neighborhoods this Purim! What better way to spread happiness on a truly happy day!

P.S. Would you like to know how many TorahMates Oorah has? Well, it is kind of hard to say exactly, since our AMAZING TorahMate coordinators are continuously signing up new chavrusas! But to give you a rough estimate, we are closing in on 5000 Torahmates involved in the program. A true Kiddush Hashem and hopefully bringing much nachas to the Ribbono Shel Olam!
