From Malky Kleinman:
Even though I was not up in camp for any part of Yom Tov, many campers that were in camp for 1st days came over to me to share their experience with me. Here are some comments that I feel I should share and let you know what a huge impact Oorah had AGAIN on the lives of our campers.
Hila – “so I always loved TheZone, it was always was kind of like my rock in life… I knew about the magic that happens there regularly but for the 1st time I was taking my Mom with me. I was always eager for her to feel what I’ve been feeling all this time and for her to maybe get a glimpse of this wonderful world I got to be part of, and to see her have such a good time and feel so comfortable among the people that make up oorah, the same people who made me who I am. It was really the best feeling ever to finally have the two biggest parts of my life, which is who I am (with TheZone’s help) and where I came from (my family) come together just like that, to do the same mitzvah all together… not much word to describe it”
Leah H- “seeing new things that the men did in shul, hearing things about Sukkot that I didn’t know, meeting and speaking with new families and friends, just made Sukkot so nice”
Tori- “Spending Yom Tov in camp was amazing. We really gained so much inspiration from it. At the same time, we had tons of fun and met many new people. It was really a pleasure to be there.”
Molly- “IT WAS AMAZING! I had so much fun with everyone from camp and the programs were so much fun! Overall im glad I came and learned a lot with my Torah Mate and from everyone around me.”
