Oorah hosts pre-Pesach suppers

Oorah employees and their families were treated to a real bonus on the Tuesday and Wednesday nights before Pesach. Oorah sponsored supper for those two nights, a hard time for all Jewish families who are in the thick of Pesach preparations. With many homes already mostly Pesach’dik, a free supper out is a real help.

Tuesday night was dairy, with pizza (70 pies!) and fries from Pizza Plus and 15 dozen bagels, 28 pounds of tuna and 24 pounds of Israeli salad from Bagel Nosh. Wednesday’s meal, a lavish spread including seven different chicken dishes and a variety of sides came from the new D-lux restaurant. Supper was served buffet style in the warehouse next door to Oorah’s main office.

“This is a benefit that is very generous and considerate and my family and I greatly appreciate it! I believe I speak on behalf of all of Oorah’s grateful employees,” one woman enthused.

Judging by the happy faces all around, it seems that indeed she does.

I couldn’t have said it better! I am one of the employees who enjoyed the delicious food along with my family. I truely appreciate Rabbi Mintz’s generosity and all the effort made by Rabbi Amsel and Rabbi Katz to coordinate everything involved in making it work so smoothly! THANK YOU!!!
