About 90 Staten Island girls gathered in costume for an evening of Purim fun at Oorah’s ChillZone at the Torah Spot in Eltingville.
The early celebration on March 1 for Purim included pizza and a do-it-yourself ice cream sundae station, a game, dancing and raffles. Aliza Perles led the program.
The ChillZone is held on Thursdays from 7 to 8:15 p.m. and is open to all elementary and high school girls who want to learn the Torah and chill in a warm, Jewish environment. Torah Spot is at 374 Ridgewood Ave. For information, call 866-843-9663.
