Shmini Atzeres - Simchas Torah October 20-22, 2019

The second half of Sukkos brings with it a whole new round of celebrations, with Shmini Atzeres symbolizing the end of a week-long holiday and Simchas Torah's unadulterated exhilaration as we sing and dance with the Torah scrolls. On Simchas Torah, we complete the yearly cycle of the reading of the Torah; everyone, young and old, has the opportunity to be called up to the Torah to take part in the special occasion. The main holiday meals and programs include lots of delicious food, constant singing and dancing, and opportunities for inspiration throughout the day.
